WHERE
& WHEN DO CAMPERS MEET?
• All camps begin at 9:00am. Be on time. Our staff needs time
to pack gear and take attendance. Children will not be included if they
arrive later than 9:00am. There will be no tuition adjustment for children
who arrive late and miss the bus. All campers should be promptly picked
up by 4:00pm at the same place they are dropped off.
• When you drop off and pick up your child, you MUST get out of
your car and sign them in and out of camp. No child will be released
to anyone other than his or her parents without prior notice.

• We can only permit a certain number of children in camp each
week. Therefore, be careful when registering and reading your confirmation
to make sure that you are signed up for the right weeks. There are
no transfers within 2 weeks of the start of your XCamp! We save a
space for YOU when you send in your registration. PLEASE consider
your dates carefully when you register.
HOW MUCH IS THE TUITION?
One week of Extreme Camp or Surf Camp is $295.
One week of Cape Hatteras Away Camp is $690 all inclusive.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Click on our sign up page and download
our registration packet. Fill out the registration and medical forms.
*If attending Extreme Camp (not surf camp) you must also complete
The Incline Club Skate Park Waiver and Release of Liability. Be sure
to include either a check or credit card information and your email
address to receive confirmation. We now accept Visa & MasterCard!
Please fill out the registration packet with your correct credit card
information with a signature in order to pay for camp this year! Once
all forms are complete, mail tuition to the post office box listed
on the front of the packet. Absolutely NO PAYMENTS will be accepted
at drop off points by counselors at any time!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Day campers should bring a bag lunch, towel, and sunscreen everyday,
along with plenty of liquids! At the Hatteras Away Camps, all food
is provided. Detailed lists are provided after registration is completed.
If you have equipment that you specifically like to use, BRING IT!
However, with the exception of skate day, all equipment will be provided
in the event that you do not have your own. Campers must bring their
own protective pads, helmets, and skateboards, rollerblades or bikes.
Daily activities may include surfing, body-boarding, skim-boarding,
fishing, kayaking, skateboarding, in-line skating, BMX biking, scuba
diving, rock climbing, snorkeling, swimming, basketball, and high
ropes course.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T DO SOMETHING?
Instruction and guidance are there for you to increase your skill
level and thereby increase your fun level! Campers are treated individually
and each person progresses at their own pace.
INCLEMENT WEATHER?
• Our commitment is to make sure our campers have the best
time possible. Some of our activities are planned for outdoors and
some for indoors. XCamp meets EVERYDAY regardless of the weather.
If the weather does not permit us to proceed with an outdoor activitywe
will substitute an indoor activity for that day!
• Along those same lines, we cannot control the waves in the
ocean (unfortunately). If there are no waves or the surf is “flat,”
we will have other activities.
• If there is thunder, lightning, or a ridiculously heavy rain,
camp counselors may decide to cancel camp. The camp hotline will be
updated by 8 am. If the weather is questionable, please call the camp
number and listen to the message. Campers will make up any missed
days during week 10. Campers have the option of going to XCamp for
the day or coming another day in another week.
• There are no refunds or tuition adjustments due to inclement
weather or ocean conditions!
IN CASE OF INJURY OR ILLNESS AT CAMP?
In the event a camper becomes ill or injured, a counselor will
refer directly to the Emergency Medical information provided to the
camp. The camper’s parents or guardians will be called at the
phone numbers provided.
MONEY AND VALUABLES?
Extreme Camp, Inc. and/or XCamp 2007 and/or Surf Camp are not responsible
for any lost or stolen items. Please note that although an atmosphere
of trust and camaraderie are taught at camp, each person is responsible
for their own equipment, money, clothing, and other personal items.
INSECT REPELLENT?
Many camp activities occur in areas associated with mosquitoes, biting
flies, ticks, and other local insects. XCamp has available standard
bug repellents for your child’s use at camp. If you have a preferred
brand of repellent, please provide that for your child. If you do
not want repellent used on your child, please note that on the Emergency
Medical Form.
